I am the Farm Developer of OPUS Cactus. This page to be filled in the future. Some of the things I have done:

• Techno-economic modeling of cactus cultivation systems optimized for different objectives 

• Small- and large-scale drying systems for Opuntia cactus for animal feed production, ranging from thermodynamic simulations and techno-economic assessments to lab-scale R&D testing 

• Engineering work related to biogas production from Opuntia cactus biomass 

• Engineering and process development for Opuntia harvesting strategies 

• Drone filming, mapping, and terrain analysis for water harvesting in cactus cultivation systems 

• Development of software tools to identify pests — particularly cochineal insects — in Opuntia systems as part of integrated pest management strategies
